Where Did Solstice Come From?
Solstice is a project of Learning & Scholarly Technologies at the University of Washington. Built by the Catalyst Research & Development team (no relationship to http://catalyst.perl.org), Solstice serves up the Catalyst Web Tools, a suite of twelve enterprise communication and collaboration tools that support teaching, learning, and research for the University of Washington community.
Licensing

All Solstice software and applications available here are licensed according to the copyright terms of the Apache License, Version 2.0.
All code contributed for release here will be subject to a practice modeled after the Apache Foundation's contributor license agreement (CLA). The CLA contains a mix of protections for the individual contributor and protections for the community which benefit the contributor indirectly. The CLA is coming soon.
